Challenging Behavior

Parents and teachers are often seeking help when dealing with behaviors such as excessive arguing, blaming others, work refusal, questioning rules, tantrums, mean-spirited teasing, and revenge seeking types of aberrant behavior that interferes with daily life and sometimes puts the individual or child in harmful situations or trouble with parents or teachers.

Behavior Analysis can support parents and teachers by offering strategies and empirically supported behavioral interventions that can address common behavior problems through the use of comprehensive behavioral assessment procedures to identify the functions of problem behaviors and then develop effective treatment interventions.

Behavior Analysts provide training to parents, teachers and caregivers to support their efforts in offering valuable learning opportunities to children and adolescents and provide nurturing and supportive environments in which they can live, play and learn.
